Accounts Payable Manager -Contact
An immediately available candidate is required to join a Basingstoke based client on a fixed term contract basis. This job will be suitable for a candidate who has experience of working within a purchase ledger department in a supervisory, team leader or management role. The fixed term contract will run until September 2015.
Duties within the role will include:
- Day to day management of the Accounts Payable team
- Performance management of direct reports
- Undertaking the day to day management of the accounts payable ledger and invoice approval system
- Ensuring that all documentation is processed in accordance with compliance guidelines
The ideally candidate will be either immediately available, or on a short notice period and will be able to commit to a fixed term contract. Key skill and experience required for this role include:
- Extensive Accounts Payable experience
- Strong man management ability / previous experience in a leadership role
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
- Good reconciliation skills and a fair understanding of general accounting
