Accounts Payable Senior
My Client, a forward thinking construction company based in Central London, is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable professional into their growing team.
This company currently turns over £200 million per annum and specialises in high end property development. This role will be reporting into the Head of Ledgers. The ideal candidate for this role will be a dynamic Accounts Payable expert who is has an eye for detail and is always looking to improve processes and procedures.
Main duties:
Input and processing of purchase ledger invoices, to cover expenditure including materials and construction services, marketing, utilities and overheads, and professional services
Resolution of queries from suppliers and staff
Creation and processing of payment runs using BACS, CHAPS and cheque payments
Contributing to process improvement, including the implementation of new purchase ledger and procurement systems
Experience and skills desired:
At least 3 years of accounts payable experience, which would include dealing with non-routine transactions and a high level of interaction with suppliers and non-finance staff members
Experience with NAV / Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems
Experience with working with systems and process changes
Construction and development industry experience ideal but not essential
