We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client in the west Nashville area. This is a temp to perm position that offers a work/life balance. A professional presence and positive attitude is needed to be considered for this position. Candidates must have a "team player" attitude and a willingness to assist in other areas as needed. This is an entry level position but does require some experience processing accounts payable (at least 6 months).
Primary duties include:
? Coding invoices to proper accounts and projects.
? Entering invoices into our accounting system.
? Processing employee expense reports.
? Reconciling monthly vendor statements.
? Handling accounts payable inquiries from internal customers and external vendors.
? Investigating invoice discrepancies.
? Filing invoices.
? Printing and mailing checks.
? Matching all checks to the corresponding invoices paid.
