General Description:
Responsible for the following areas:
- processing the accounts payable invoices’
- maintenance of vendor records, inventory management, employee expense reports and credit card statements
- preparing payment proposals and checks
- ensuring the accuracy, promptness, and control of payments as per SOX procedures
- Incumbent is expected to initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels and support the Finance Department as needed.
Experience/Education -
- AA or Bachelors degree in Finance or related field, preferred
- 1-3 years experience in Accounts Payable and / or Accounts Receivable in a fast paced environment
- MS Office proficiency required (Excel and Word)
- ERP experience such as SAP a plus
- SOX experience a plus
- Able to multi-task, flexible and change priorities as needed
