EXPERIENCED PRACTICE ACCOUNTS PREPARER ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT WITH A SMALL FIRM BACKGROUND, SOUGHT BY A SMALL FRIENDLY FIRM IN NORTH DORSET
Our client is a small friendly firm of accountants who are seeking an experienced small practice accounts preparer to join their team.
They are looking for someone who could deal accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, companies, farmers, charities and trust accounts and possibly associated business tax and corporation tax computations (this will be limited as the firm has a resident tax specialist). IRIS experience would be a bonus.
They would like someone who has previous experience of working in an accountancy practice who is capable of working on their own initiative, able to take queries from clients that need research, and responding accordingly.
In essence, the role is what they want make it and the firm is very flexible about how the role will evolve over time, so the more willing they are then the more responsibility and experience we will give them.
The job will be office based and is full time and would suit someone who lives in North Dorset, as someone who lives too far away is more likely to tire of the drive and move on, and the firm is looking for someone long-term who can grow with the practice.
