Job Description: Maldonado Nursery Landscaping, Inc. a leader in providing quality Landscaping, Irrigation, Maintenance and Janitorial Services to commercial and residential customers in San Antonio, Austin, Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas, is currently seeking a Accounts Receivable Administrator for our San Antonio, TX corporate office.
Responsibilities: The Candidate will be responsible for calling and collecting from both active and inactive delinquent customers; Prepare monthly notices for Intent to File Liens, completes the monthly filing of Mechanics Liens on schedule and within the legally required time frame; Will file bond claims monthly as necessary; Review all AR accounts for correct and current information; Resolve customer billing disputes complaints; Check accuracy of AR balances against billings and receivables; Prepare daily deposits for courier and post all cash receipts against; and any other duties assigned as required. Will also be responsible for billing/contract administration for our Valley locations.
Requirements: Candidate must have a HS diploma/GED and 4 to 5 years of related on the job experience; or an equivalent combination of college education and experience. Ideal candidate must be proficient in current credit and collection practices and have full knowledge of processing and filing Mechanics Liens Bond Claims. Candidate will have advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP database software. Must be a team player with strong communication skills; be detail oriented and organized; be able to organize, implement and promote company credit and collection procedure and policies with company managers and customers. Commercial and residential collection experience required on all past due accounts. ** Priority will given to candidates with Lien filing knowledge and experience. Must be able to handle a high volume of collection calls and perform multiple tasks at the same time.
