Role Overview:
This is a full-time, permanent role sitting within Amazon's Vendor Receivables team. The main aim of this role is to drive costs and process improvements, providing timely input, and communicating effectively with management, vendors and peers regarding collection and process issues. You will handle inbound calls and emails from customers, dealing with any issues, supporting the vendor and answer any queries they may have.
Responsibilities will include:
- Issuing Inventory Returns Debit notes
- Collections
- Credit application
- Process Improvement
- Vendor disputes
- Reporting and metrics for business and finance contacts.
- Significant professional experience in finance, ideally accounts receivable, preferably within the retail sector
- Intermediate to Advanced level Excel
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Knowledge of Access or other databases desirable, but not essential
- Knowledge of Oracle AR desirable, but not essential
The ideal candidate would come from a retail accounting background, with proven experience working in a team to achieve high levels of service.
