Accounts Receivable Clerk Job in Columbus 43229, Ohio Us
Do you have experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and VA billing? Are you looking for an opportunity at a dynamic organization? Then this position is for you! Accountemps is assisting a company in North Columbus in its search for Medicare Billers with experience in a Nursing Home Setting. The optimal biller must have a detailed knowledge and understanding of ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding classification systems, be familiar with medical terminology and its applications, and be familiar with insurance rules and regulations. Knowledge of managed care contracts, workers compensation legal requirements, and fee schedules may be required. Knowledge of computerized billing software (e.g. MDX, Medisoft, IDX, Edicom, Meditech, HBOC, Prime Clinical, Primus, Medical Manager, etc) is required. CMB or CMBS certification a plus. Must have a minimum of 2 years of medical experience specifically working with HMO and PPO; be familiar with Medicare/Medicaid and coding.
