Our small client in Delaware County is looking for an accounts receivable specialist. A qualified candidate will be eager, flexible, and be able to complete the following responsibilities: - Must be able to speak to patients and others in a clear and articulate manner to obtain payment in full or establish an agreeable payment program. - Identify potential bad debt accounts and interface with the collection process and third party agencies. - Process all billing as needed. - Scanning all EOB's and checks in the Document Retrieval System (DRS) - Maintain daily ledger for insurance checks and patient payments. - Process Electronically Monthly Patient bills. - With use of time management and organizational skills, applicant must be able to meet productivity standards set for position, as well as contribute to goals of the department. - Assist customers both internally and externally, with billing questions. - Maintains patient database with correct information. - Schedule patient's visits according to physicians schedule. - Verify patient insurance information via telephone, web, or electronically. - Scan all patient identification and insurance cards into system when applicable. - Maintain nursing home patient's demographics, responsible party, and insurance information. Verifying eligibility prior to visit by coordinating the data from the nursing home. Working hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm This is a fast moving position and our client is interviewing immediately for a qualified candidate. This position will pay between $15-$18/hr depending on experience. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. Permanent placement is based on performance.
