Currently we have an opportunity for an experienced Team Leader within our Accounts Receivable team.

Our current AR department recently won the AICM Veda Credit Team of the Year award for 2011. It is a fast paced team comprising of an experienced, professional, and dynamic Credit Manager and Team Leaders together with over 35 specialised Credit Officers. This strong team increases our financial performance through debtor management, compliance of credit policies, the reduction of DSO and the provision of strong customer service.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

·         Driving the account collections process effectively to increase company cash flow;

·         Reducing debtors older than 60/90 days as per departmental plan;

·         Liaising with external and internal business partners;

·         Identify and make recommendations to the National Credit Manager on how the collections process can be improved;

·         Managing collections team within set KPI's to achieve targets in the areas of day to day collection, doubtful debt and legal action;

·         Mentoring and develop team members, along with monitoring all staffing issues and managing all recruitment needs for the team.

 

You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership qualities as well the ability to work within strict deadlines and drive results within your team. Previous Team Leader experience required as well as a good understanding of Credit Management, collection techniques reporting, and credit risk and procedures.
