Accounts Semi Senior

My client a SME firm of accountants based in central Huddersfield are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. The role involves preparing accounts independently, for a wide range of businesses from sole traders to local SME businesses.

The main duties will include:

•Preparing accounts to draft stage from computerised or manual records for sole traders/ partnerships and limited companies
•Completing VAT returns
•Answering telephone queries and drafting basic correspondence
•There may also be an opportunity to be involved in preparing corporation tax computations

Ideally you will be AAT qualified and have previous practice experience, with a strong ambition to learn new skills.
