Accounts Administrator required

The role entails assisting the Credit Control/Payroll teams in a wide range of credit control and administrative tasks and duties. The ultimate purpose of the position is to support the Teams and ensure that the high standard set by the Company is met. . To establish good relationships with sometimes difficult clients

Key Responsibilities:
· Support and assist Credit Controllers to ensure that queries are resolved promptly so that debts are paid in a timely manner.
· Overall team targets to be met
· Liaise directly with external Clients to resolve issues within a set timescale
· Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity using SAGE 200 Credit Hound
· Respond promptly to enquiries
· Understand the escalation process.
· Assist in reducing Debtor Days
· Making Payments/Updating Client accounts
· Updating new contracts on the system
· Keying timesheets onto the payroll system
· Checking timesheet entries on the system for accuracy
· Sending out copy sales invoices to Clients as required
· Sending out Monthly Statements to Clients
· Sending Daily chasing letters to external Clients
· Providing other administrative assistance as required/reporting

Personal Qualities and Skills Required:
· Numeric Accuracy and great attention to detail
· Maintaining Accurate Records and Reports
· Communicative/ Interpersonal Skills
· Patience and the ability to deal with difficult customers are imperative to the role
· Friendly and Approachable Manner
· Ability to manage prioritise an extensive and somewhat varied caseload. Tasks can change from week to week depending on the requirements of the Company. Using your own initiative whilst other Team members are otherwise engaged. Ability to make decisions based on information provided

· Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel
· Knowledge of Sage 200 Accounts package would be preferable
· A minimum of 2 years experience of working within an Accounts environment
