OBJECTIVE

Meet or exceed small commercial, profitable-growth objectives in assigned territory by developing and executing on CRS business-development strategies, growing and managing a successful, multi-channel, independent distribution force and being creatively-opportunistic in the marketplace.

Relationship Management- from the Owner to the customer service rep, ACE CRS values the ability to quickly establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with agents and brokers. As key brand representatives, they are the face of ACE CRS in the marketplace, and are expected to maintain a meaningful presence in the territory and drive results.

Distribution Leadership- As an ACE CRS Territory manager, you are the key executive in your territory. Your ability to form meaningful and profitable relationships and to differentiate ACE CRS at all levels in an agency or brokerage, enable you to be rewarded for meeting ACE’s goal of cultivating and maximizing the flow of submissions and hit ratios from your territory.

MAJOR DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet and exceed profitable-growth targets with direct accountability for key metrics around written premium, submission flow, hit ratios, cross-selling, retention and product mix.

Create territory-level business plans (strategies and àexecution) in conjunction with regional and national plans.

Coordinate and execute on agency appointment, àmanagement, compensation and training processes.

Be visible and valuable to key production partners, making 30 – 40 visits each month.

Continuously identify and communicate changes to competitor rates and products.

Identify new sources of revenue by cross marketing with other ACE business units.

Prepare written presentations, reports and proposals in a professional and timely manner.

Prepare and conduct product fairs and other venues to promote CRS product lines.

Communicate to management and underwriting the specific needs and requirements of producers and buyers.

Handle and resolve problems and complaints.

Continually learn new products and acquire advanced àbusiness-development skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

à Exposure to/ understanding of commercial insurance business-development experience (small c’omml prfd)

à Established relationships with commercial producers and ability to attract new business flow

à Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

à Strong analytical and planning skills

à Strong negotiation skills

à Strong presentation skills

à Ability to travel - 80% (mostly local)

à Work well independently and as part of a regional team

à Results oriented and career minded
