Acquisition Manager / Growth Lead

GetSocial is an app store for all your social media needs that helps marketers and website owners to increase their traffic, conversions and understanding on how social media drives their businesses. We’re based in sunny Lisbon, Portugal and we’ve proudly raised a seed round with Portugal Ventures and Faber Ventures.
We’re looking for someone experienced in managing acquisition for SaaS businesses. Your goals are simple: to generate demand and grow our subscription base, balancing acquisition between free and paid accounts.
Two KPIs: New Accounts, New Paid Subscriptions. Simple, right?
You’ll be working on:

Leading and optimizing current customer acquisition channels as well as identify and research new customer acquisition opportunities

Strategizing and leading our content marketing and blogging initiatives

Building and leading onsite growth initiatives through A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and funnel optimization along with our design team

Coordinating new marketing product initiatives around upcoming product releases

Identifying potential opportunities that will reduce customer churn and increase the lifetime value of our customers
Main requirements
Here’s what we’re looking for. You should:

Have 1+ year of customer acquisition retention experience (preferably SaaS related) with a proven track record. Digital marketing experience is also valued.

Be super-analytical and passionate about testing, data and metrics (a deep understanding of SaaS Metrics analytic platforms such as Google Analytics strongly preferred)

Learn the finer points of our product as well as the needs of our customers

Be exceptional at multi-tasking and have an uncanny ability to prioritize your responsibilities

Have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, be extremely detail-oriented, hustle, hustle, hustle.

Be ready to lead our marketing efforts by recommending the best software tools to get the job done
