An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, B2B sales and marketing focused individual to join the MRB Marketing team in the role of Acquisition Marketing Manager. Reporting into the Business Development and Acquisition Support Manager you will have responsibility to drive business development in MRB's chosen markets and provide support to the sales team in their new to bank acquisition efforts.
Specifically you will utilise your strong relationship skills and sales focused nature to work closely with Sales Heads to develop B2B acquisition sales and marketing plans (utilising the full marketing mix), suggest and implement different methods of targeting new to bank clients and challenge existing client segments with new marketing initiatives. In this role you will also manage, coach and develop one direct report (Marketing Executive) and provide mentoring to other team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks and ensure targets are met.
You will also have responsibility to;
- Manage and drive key acquisition assets such as sponsorships, tenders, sales tools, management of prospect list, CRM mining and pipeline development
- Lead and champion team initiatives as well encourage ongoing collaboration with team
- Manage reporting and evaluation of marketing activity delivery again business objectives
- Play a key role in suggesting and championing improvements to efficiency, quality and metrics, engagement with key stakeholders
- Ideal applicants for this role will possess in-depth sales and marketing knowledge preferably with an understanding of Macquarie's business banking segments.
Additionally, to be successful in your application you will have;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferably in Marketing
- A solid base of experience in a similar marketing/sales roles is essential, preferably within financial services, professional services or a B2B environment
- A proven ability to build strong and innovative marketing strategies
- Demonstrated experience in staff management and a track record of coaching staff and people developmen
- Ability to think strategically, laterally and creatively
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and influencing skills
- Analytical, process and problem solving skills
- A depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in marketing principles across the whole marketing mix
- Strong planning and organising plus Project management skills
- Agency/supplier management
- Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
