Acquisitions-/Financial Analyst (m/f) Real Estate Private Equity recruitment
Our client is a private equity house for real estate special situations investments in German speaking countries and beyond. The fund has equity commitments of over € 200 million and closed at the end of 2006. Until now, the fund has invested into more than 50 properties with a total investment volume of more than € 250 million. This includes both single properties and portfolios of residential and commercial buildings as well as numerous retail assets in Germany and Austria. The fund is supposed to invest up to € 100 million of its equity within the next year and therefore is in search for value-add and opportunistic investments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland which do not fit the investment criteria of institutional and long-term investors.
To reach our client´s goal of becoming one of the leading real estate private equity investors in that region and to strengthen their team they are now looking for an Acquisitions-/Financial Analyst (m/f) Real Estate Private Equity in Munich.
The Position / Overview:
- Our client is looking for a professional who wants to start or advance his career in private equity real estate.
- The professional applies all financial analysis tools required in the acquisition process. Moreover, as an integrative part of the deal team, the Acquisitions/Financial Analyst (m/f) works on all aspects of the acquisition process and transaction structuring.
- Among being a flexible and dynamic organisation and not a large institution, our client offers a very attractive and transparent career path from Financial Analyst via Investment Director up to Partner level.
- Moreover, our client is willing to support graduate candidates in gaining a second academic degree (Dr., MBA) through a custom fellowship program.
Your Profile:
- The ideal candidate (m/f) combines excellent analytical skills with a strong personality.
- The successful candidate has completed or expects to complete his studies with very good results in a compendiously timeframe.
- During his/her studies, he/she has ideally completed relevant internships in companies like investment banks, real estate or private equity investors, commercial banks, auditors, tax advisors or management consultancies.
- The candidate has ideally worked on a number of investment transactions and should speak fluent German and English.
- Overall, the successful candidate should have a clearly demonstrated affinity to the world of finance or real estate and is ambitious, flexible and hard-working. His stamina and analytical skills make him to excel in a meritocratic world without having lost his sense of humour.
Responsibilities:
- Create cash flow models and business plans for new real estate investments and real estate companies.
- Travel on short notice to review transactions.
- Obtaining and verifying information within the scope of a due diligence.
- Creating documents for investment and financing decisions.
- Transaction support within the acquisition team.
- Other tasks as may be required.
