Activity Director, Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Job Description

Celebrate Caring at Wakefield Care and Rehabilitation Center, a SunBridge Healthcare affiliate. We're seeking an Activity Director at our 143-bed center, located in Wakefiled, MA.  Applicants must be certified in the state of Massachusetts.

The director will be over the entire activities program and be willing to work with a diverse population of residents. The ideal candidate will be very resident centered and understands what it truly means to be an activity director.

Job Requirements:

* Qualified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist,  Activities professional licensedm certified or registered by the state or a Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant.
* Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation preferred. 
* P
revious experience in activities, social services or recreational program in a healthcare setting and experience in the development and execution of programs and activities desired. 
* Ability to work as part of a team and have good planning and organizational skills.
