Full Job Description
A part qualified actuary with fluency in Italian is required by a globally recognised client. The role is varied and will involved analysis of the assets and liabilities of the Annuity portfolio, quarterly life product valuations, monthly/quarterly/annual balance sheet completion for Finance, and quarterly/annual statistical returns for Head office and Finance. You will also assist the manager with the production of Reinsurance reports, audit of and maintenance of a database of discontinued products, and identifying and implementing new projects. Your Italian language skills will be essential in promoting a good working relationship with Head Office, Investment and Finance.
The ideal candidate will have some solid actuarial experience within life and pensions and some exam passes, with fluency in Italian absolutely vital. You will also need a high level of computer literacy including advanced Excel, Visual Basic and Prophet.
