Actuarial Analyst/ Trainee recruitment
My client, based in London, is looking for an individual to join their growing life pricing team. The purpose of the role is to suppoer the delivery of new business quotations for life, health and annuity products in the UK and Ireland, along with the development of pricing models and bases.
The job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Supporting the delivery of new business quotations to life offices for life, health and annuity products
- Supporting the development of the technical pricing bases by analysing and interpreting data and explaining findings to stakeholders throughout the business
- Supporting the development of pricing models for different products
- Analysing experience data todetermine trends and to ensure profitablity targets are met and communicating results/ findings to stakeholders across the business.
The successful applicant will have some consulting experience within their Life, General Insurance, Pensions or Investments. For those individuals not from a Life background this is a fantastic opportunity to make a transfer into the reinsurance industry.
A 2:1 degree from a reputable organisation is necessary and you will preferably have made some headway through the actuarial exams. However, a study package for the actuarial exams will be provided.
