As a general insurance actuary at Ernst Young, you'll use your actuarial skills and experience to help clients gain fresh insights for improving their performance. Your ability to apply a range of actuarial skills will set you up for success. You are able to interpret results from analysis to bring to light the issues that matter. Business experience and sound project management skills brings a commerciality to frame advice in a way that is helpful for business results. These may include some of the following areas in the general insurance environment:
- Actuarial Governance - Insurance Liability Valuations, External Peer Reviews and Audit support
- Performance Improvement - Pricing advice, Product Development, Claims improvement
- Strategic Advice and Risk Management - Capital and Risk Management, Business Strategy
We are interested in Actuarial students and/or newly qualified actuaries for our Melbourne office. A minimum of 3 years experience is desired. More senior roles available for the right individual.
Experience in accident compensation will be highly regarded though not essential. Depending on your level of experience you will be able to take on the management of key engagements and staff, and be looking to take on an increased role in leadership and business growth.
