About the role
As an Actuarial Trainee you will:
- Actively contribute to client projects of a technical actuarial nature in life, non-life and pensions, for example: embedded value reviews, audit support, modeling, MA and financial reporting.
- Participate in assignments related to IFRS 4, Solvency II and in the setup of pension funds
As an Actuarial Senior Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Actively contributing to client projects of a technical actuarial nature, for example: audit support, modelling, embedded value reviews, MA and financial reporting in life, non-lie and / or pensions, Solvency II and financial transformation
- Providing professional and effective liaison with clients both internal and external to understand their business requirements
- Participating in assignments related to the review of actuarial models, the set-up and risk management of pension funds, the review of actuarial models. Future assignments may also extend to other areas of the practices' work, such as Solvency II and IFRS 4.
- Contributing actively to the development of our actuarial service offering
About you
- Master degree in Actuarial Sciences
- Proven analytical and logical problem solving skills
- Client focused and ability to quickly establish effective working relationships
- Fluency in French and English, knowledge of German would be considered an asset
- Experience with: asset liability modelling, valuation of products, stochastic modelling, accounting norms (IFRS/LUXGAAP), audit of insurance companies, MA / structuring, claims reserving provisioning techniques, realistic balance sheet, valuation of life policies (including life settlements), capital management, actuarial modelling of reinsurance risks.
- For an experienced role: Recognized as an Actuary
- At least 2-3 years' relevant professional experience within a consulting environment
- Knowledge of either life, non-life or pension industry and ability to apply your knowledge in practical and commercial situations
- Commercial outlook with an ability to provide support in the go-to-market activities of the business
