Actuary / Investment Consultancy / CT exams recruitment

The Role:

The successful candidates will work within a team of qualified actuaries and part qualified actuaries and will be an assistant for up to 10 clients, establishing strong working relationships.

Prepare letters and other client material, coordinate data collection including editing and testing data received from clients.

Project manage/handle valuations and cost estimates. Undertaking and supervising accounting disclosures (FRS17, IAS19 and USGAAP).

Prepare for and attend client meetings

Involvement in project based work and internal projects.

To build up consulting knowledge on actuarial and non-actuarial aspects of pension plans.

Once qualified or if already qualified - hold responsibility for a portfolio of clients and act as a client manager for a number of these.

Good progress through the actuarial exams, generally to have completed CT exams (and CA1)

Good mathematics based degree
