Our client is one of the top reinsurers in the world.
The Role
You will provide actuarial advice, training and support to Retakaful clients throughout SEA, and work closely with key clients on delivering creative retakaful solutions / proposals, including product development initiatives, capital solutions, and other strategic business initiatives. You will promote Retakaful at forums and conferences, and develop and maintain personal contacts with the Actuarial community so as to build both personal and corporate branding as a credible Actuarial technical port of call.
Internally, you will provide support, advice and technical expertise in pricing and maintenance of pricing terms of trade and cooperate closely with the client management and risk management teams with internal projects, research, monitoring and reporting.
Your Profile
You will be a fully qualified or near qualified actuary e.g. FFA, FIA, FIAA, FSA with extensive technical insurance / reinsurance experience. You will also have excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and leadership skills. Additionally, regional experience in SEA as well as prior Takaful experience would be advantageous. This role involves at least 30% travelling within SEA.
