Actuary recruitment
Job Description :
- To provide key support to setting up the actuarial function and processes.
- To assist in establishing technical models, primarily for statutory and group reporting, experience review, business planning and forecasting, ALM, risk and capital management, etc
Prerequisites:
- Degree in Actuarial Science or any quantitative discipline
- Good progress in actuarial exams with IOA, SOA, or IOAA
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in product development or valuation, preferably with a direct life insurer or in consulting. Candidates with more experience and good track record will be considered for manager role
- Prior experience in local statutory reporting, IFRS, US GAAP and MCEV would be advantageous
- Highly motivated team player who thrives in an exciting environment
- Highly analytical with strong quantitative and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, Visual Basic and Prophet. Prophet experience is a must.
