ACX Production Coordinator

Audible is looking for a highly-organized, self-motivated multi-tasker with experience as both an audiobook editor/engineer/producer, and a production coordinator in a rapidly moving media environment. The ACX Production Coordinator will work to improve Audible's state of the art ACX service by: a) continually improving the user experience for ACX's Narrators and Producers b) making the service more valuable to users, and helping improve the website c) facilitating the connections between the two core types of acx.com users - Producers and Rights Holders - to ensure tons of audiobooks are produced to very high standards using ACX d) managing the end-to-end lifecycle associated with audiobook production over the Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX), utilizing analytical and strong customer service skills Responsibilities Act as liaison between ACX and ACX's users, with a focus on narrators audiobook studio professionals. Identify areas of enhancement, acting as the voice of ACX Producers and Rights Holders that have begun an audio production over ACX. Assist in the brainstorming and development of these new ACX features Seek out and encourage qualified narrators and producers to sign up and actively participate on ACX, and work with them directly to grow and expand their talent. Answer all aspects of production-related questions from ACX participants (e.g. how to access the site, how the site works, how to improve recordings, how to sub-contract other studio professionals, etc.). Develop FAQ and canned responses for ACX questions, and work with Customer Care team to help them understand issues. Actively connect those in need of production assistance to those able to help, and are paid on a timely basis. Work along with Finance Department to ensure Narrators Producers are set-up for payments Assist in the gathering and tracking of user metrics. Ingest ACX user feedback; track, prioritize distribute to team. Liaise with Audible's metadata team, as needed, to ensure information for each completed audiobook is accurate. Find and develop efficiencies on ACX to make the audiobook production process better, faster, and easier for users. Be "the voice of ACX" on social media websites and relevant online forums to the actor/studio community. Three to five years experience working within a media production environment At least two years of experience in project-flow management is required Expertise on both Mac and PC computers Familiarity with networked systems Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills Ability to manage multiple projects at once Ability to handle rapidly changing scheduling on a daily basis Experience summarizing data for business executives Experience in voiceover recording, editing, or producing audiobooks a major plus Passion, energy, and creativity Excel and other databases, PowerPoint or other data presentation tools
