AD – Credit Risk / Regulatory Analyst

he purpose of the role is to analyse transactions and counterparties and form a credit opinion in a timely manner. Additionally the successful candidate will be involved in the development of regulatory processes. p

Responsibilities: p

Analyse transactions. p

Ensure that internal processes and reporting systems remain current. p

Relationship Management - including liaising with third parties. p

Act as authorized credit signature. p

Provide the Head of Risk Management and Risk Committee with advice on all credit related matters. p

Ensure that all transactions are compliant with policy and procedures. p

Production of weekly and monthly credit reports. p

Provide guidance on industry, sector and credit-specific developments relating to the banks's principal business areas. p

Undertake ad-hoc projects/assignments as required. p

p

Requirements: p

Minimum of 5 years of credit experience, (Emphasis on UK residential and commercial property finance, corporate and leveraged transactions and private banking loan products.) p

A solid understand of regulatory risk. p

Well-developed analytical and stress testing skills. p

Strong interpersonal skills. p

Good communication skills. p

Self-motivated and self-confident. p

Organised and logical thinking. p

Ability to deliver against deadlines. p

Ability to deal with people at all levels. p

Team player with a common sense approach. p

Competent PC skills and familiarity with Management Information Systems including ALM, regulatory capital and scenario analysis. p
