Ad Optimisation Product Manager
We’re currently looking for a Project Manager for Ad Optimisation to identify improvements that impact our ability to recognise revenue from campaigns. The Optimisation Manager will work closely with the Media and Product Development team, analysing our advertising model, identifying low-hanging fruit, increase placements, explore new revenue opportunities and collaborate with the development team to provide real-time reporting and feedback to stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Combine data analysis and client feedback, optimising campaigns to meet objectives and develop actionable recommendations to maximise campaign success
- Work with Product Management and other cross-functional teams to define features and enhancements that improve inventory and campaign fulfilment
- Develop the optimisation strategy to continually grow and improve internal and external campaigns
- Have full knowledge of all ad campaigns, including specs, site functionality, general availability and performance of ad units
- Communicate technical issues in a way that's easy for a non-technical audience to understand
- Collaborate with Sales on sold out/undersold areas to maximize yield
- Offer full support for escalated issues when the customer needs the comfort of knowing you can assist them in a more personal level
- Serve as an expert and provide training (troubleshooting delivery issues, optimisation of campaigns, etc.) to other departments as needed
Main requirements
- 4+ years of experience in digital advertising operations and a proven track record of delivering exceptional ROI in complex online advertising campaigns
- Experience in digital ad serving, including mobile, video, and rich media vendor products
- Has a good knowledge of data mining and recommendation systems
- Ability to analyse and optimise different prediction strategies
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to pro-actively and effectively communicate information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
