AD – PROJECT FINANCE

Purpose:

Marketing and origination of new business opportunities and execution of project finance lending and advisory transactions in the infrastructure / PPP sector in the EMEA region and globally in support of clients.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

1. Originate suitable transactions within the sector / geographic area

2. Ensure that such transactions are structured to mitigate risks to the appropriate degree

3. Credit Applications Pitch book preparation

4. Co-ordination of all internal deal related processes

5. Obtain all necessary internal consents and credit approvals

6. Document and execute transactions

7. Professional management of clients relationships

8. To work effectively with and support the team

9. Cross market and cross sell where possible including products from other areas of the Bank.

Compliance Responsibilities:

Ensure that relevant anti-money laundering and other Know Your Customer requirements are met.

Key performance indicators:

Project risk analysis

Task and transaction management

Meeting Team revenue / profit targets

Developing a team pipeline of appropriate transactions

Comply with relevant internal and external policy/audit/compliance procedures / requirements

Maintain and develop good working relationships with clients and relevant third parties [e.g. other banks, law firms etc.]

Key Risk Indicators

1. Credit Risk: A high standard of assessment of project / credit risk / is required together with an ability to negotiate, structure and document transactions to mitigate risk to an appropriate level.

2. Processing Risk: A high standard of awareness is required in respect of the processing of unauthorised transactions

3. Reputation Risk: A high standard of awareness and conduct is required in dealings with clients and third parties [both internal and external].
