AD - Group Regulatory Compliance - London
My client, a global banking group, is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their team in London on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working with colleagues within the group centre to deliver compliance risk management processes to mitigate any regulatory financial risk. This is a very high profile role that will be dealing with very s enior stakeholders within the business and as such will be a very visible position. You will need the gravitas and communication skills to challenge and have credibility with Global Heads within the business.
Responsibilities:
Help develop and monitor the regulatory compliance risk profile of specific business units
Work with business partners to deliver compliance risk management processes
Provide ongoing technical interpretation of regulatory compliance requirements
Understand and constructively challenge on the regulatory compliance risk exposures
Perform group compliance conformance reviews
Undertake investigations into major control breaches that have a regulatory impact on the business
Skills/Requirements
Strong experience in a similar role
Thorough understanding of the UK and EU regulatory directives
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Knowledge of the FSA handbook
Compliance Advisory experience beneficial
