Job Summary
Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as-needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester/term basis. Adjunct instructors hold the responsibility for the management of courses taught. Adjunct instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course to counsel students regarding course work. Tampa is searching for an adjunct faculty member to teach courses in mental health counseling in its CACREP accredited Master of Counseling and Psychology program.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Candidates for undergraduate courses must possess a Master's degree in the teaching discipline, or have a Master's degree in any business discipline and 18 graduate semester hours (30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
2. Candidates for graduate positions must hold a terminal degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in the teaching discipline.
3. Candidates must be willing and able to use electronic educational systems (e.g. Blackboard, WIMBA) to augment live class instruction.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. or Ed.D from a regionally accredited and CACREP accredited institution.
