SMC Precision Sheetmetal is a producer of high quality sheetmetal components. We currently manufacture goods to both customer specification and in house designs. As a leading sheetmetal manufacturer we supply manufacturers of consumer and industrial products both domestically and internationally.

 

 

A great opportunity now exists for an Administration Assistant to assist with the processing of sales orders and answering customer enquiries.

 

Initially you will answer customer calls and direct those calls as well as informing customers of the delivery dates for their orders. After training, you will be able to answer basic sales questions and in time, process production orders.

You will assist the Sales group with organising Mail Outs and maintaining the database of customers.

You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal with a wide range of customers.

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be well regarded as would the ability to read engineering drawings. You need to possess good MS Office skills especially in Word and Excel.

You will need to have good organisational skills and be  able to work in a team environment

This role could ideally suit a person who is seeking to return to the workforce on a full time basis or can be flexible with their work hours.
