Located in the greater Hobart area this organisation is known as one of Tasmania's leading contractors who provide delivery and support to the commercial, heavy industry, marine and mining sectors. With a presence in Tasmania for over 30 years, this organisation is seeking an experienced Administration Assistant.
Providing support to the Contracts Administrator, this role will see you responsible for invoicing, data entry of quotes into the database, processing of employee timesheets, liaison with project managers, suppliers and trades staff and day to day office administration tasks. This position is an ongoing opportunity with the view of permanency and will require you to work hours based on a 4 weekly cycle in which weeks 1 to 3 you will be required to work 2 days per week whereas week 4 you will be required to work 5 days per week.
To secure this opportunity you will need past Administration experience within the construction industry coupled with strong computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels. You will have some knowledge or understanding of construction industry terminology and proven experience in accurate input of data. You will be a self starter with a high attention to detail and a keen interest for the industry.
