Administration Coordinator/Procurement
Primary Job Responsibilities Great opportunity to support major transportation project. The Procurement/Administration coordinator we seek will assist in developing procurement processes and solutions to problems of unusual complexity and scope that requires an open mind and a degree of innovation and ingenuity. You will work within our program management organization to develop fair and reasonable solutions to difficult and often contentious issues. You will consult with management and interface with Contractors representing the owner on highly significant contract and business matters. In this role one will administer activities associated with contracts/procurement for services, equipment, materials, or products. The Administration coordinator will: Create and maintain the procurement related documentation and correspondence for a major procurement. Establish an Access Database for recording all activities associated with the procurement process. Establish and maintain checklists for required activities to advance the procurement. Manage access to the documents available for review. Enter and track procurement approvals in the MWAA ERP Oracle database Provide input and monitor the procurement schedule Draft correspondence / clarification of documents as appropriate Mange deliverables securing timely compliance Manage deliverables securing timely compliance Training and Experience Minimum requirements will include a minimum of 10 years in construction/contract administration/procurement. We prefer experience in rail/transportation or heavy highway/tunnel. BS/BA degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred but not mandatory. Other Essential Functions Other Requirements
