ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities
- Manage phones, messages, correspondence, and couriers as required
- Provide admin support to GM, including calendar scheduling
- General office procedures involving procurement, travel arrangements, budget management
- Maintain files, documents and databases
- Create, edit and proof read documents/ reports and memos as necessary
- Assist with compilation of data for reports as necessary - spreadsheet work
- Schedule, coordinate and book venues for programs, meetings, seminars, etc.
- Liaison for special activities
- Maintain reception area in a tidy and presentable manner
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role, industrial background preferred
- Advanced MS Office skills - Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including information dissemination
- A sense of urgency, with strong organizational, prioritizing and multitasking skills
- Positive demeanor, with a professional image
- Outstanding telephone, interpersonal, and customer service skills
