Position Description:
Tractor Supply Company (TSCO) is the largest operator of retail farm and ranch stores in the United States. We presently have more than 1,030 TSC stores in 44 states, 6 DCs and an e-commerce website at TractorSupply.com. We are a growth company and research indicates we have an opportunity to grow to 1,800 domestic Tractor Supply store locations. It is very exciting to be a part of this $3.5+ billion organization.
The Administrative Assistant of Marketing is primarily responsible for assisting the Senior Vice President of Marketing with day to day functions and is also responsible for assisting the other Marketing department leaders and team with various functions.
Primary Duties (for SVP):
· Types and communicates through memos, presentations, letters, e-mails, and miscellaneous projects with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Some of the key items are:
o Presentations for Annual Meetings and Board Meetings
o Scheduling appointments and calendar management
o Communicate with 4-H Executive Assistant regarding Board related items
o Organize and follow-thru on Quarterly Executive meetings.
o Processing expense reportso Booking travelo Build and maintenance several manuals
o Type various correspondence and documents
o Other items, as needed
Secondary Duties:
· Expedites the gift card program for SSC, which includes distribution and maintaining logging file for gift cards as needed.
· Process business cards for all Tractor Supply employees.
· Handle on-boarding for new hires in Marketing including:
o Communicate with IT on equipment needed
o Communicate with HR on paperwork needed
· Process expense reports for department Executives and Directors.
· Coordinate travel for department Executives and Directors.
· Communicate with agencies on processing all NDA’s, travel, meetings and presentations.
· Process invoices, check requests and w9’s.
· Assist department with color copying and meeting preparation.
· Check and route Marketing voicemail box, daily.
· Gather and distribute mail for Marketing and internal agency members, daily.
· Order supplies, as needed.
· Organize occasional department gatherings (holidays, birthdays, etc)

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High school education; advanced experience with Microsoft Office; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrate strong problem solving, communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be comfortable working within critical deadlines and completing multiple tasks with a sense of urgency while displaying professionalism and courtesy.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently with a ‘look forward’ mentality, studying calendar meetings and upcoming travel and preparing accordingly.
- Should be comfortable interacting with other Executives and their Assistants.
- Display detail-oriented approach to work.
- Ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Powerpoint and Excel.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Individuals in this position will encounter ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in any typical office environment. Individuals may need to sit at a desk or table for long periods of time; to speak clearly and carefully listen to customers; to reach over shoulder heights; crouch or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; and lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday.
