Administrative Assistant – Dubai recruitment
The Global Client Group, Middle East Africa (MEA), is responsible for servicing and developing BlackRock’s business across the MEA geographies, and across the institutional and retail distribution channels. Currently the business is responsible for $70+ billion of client assets covering a wide variety of investment mandates. The MEA business continues to see strong growth.
Provide extensive administrative and executive support for the four members of GCG-MEA based in Dubai.
PA Duties:
- Handle day-to-day office logistics, including the timely processing of local supplier invoices and maintaining office inventory
- Effectively manage the daily workflow activities; confidential information, correspondence and Outlook in-boxes
- Make travel arrangements for the team members. Prepare detailed itineraries
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings and conferences
- Answer phone calls, including the Dubai switchboard – take messages or direct calls as appropriate
- Processing of expense reports on Concur
Day-to-day Business Support:
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and produce presentation books
- Maintenance of Excel databases
- Assist with general Management information and ad hoc project work
- Provide cover for Julie Keegan, the GCG-MEA London based assistant, as and when required
Experience and skills required:
- Proven experience as an Assistant working in a corporate environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a multi-task fast-paced environment being self motivated and flexible
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and follow through on assignments
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of professionals and other assistants
- Previous Industry Experience
