An opportunity exists for a personable, motivated person to work with the H2M Service at St Vincent's Public Hospital. The successful applicant will interact with clinical teams who provide mental health services to patients with Hepatitis C and HIV-related disorders, both in St Vincent's Hospital and also in local general practices. The position involves administrative support to the H2M team, and telephone interactions with doctors and patients in local GP practices. Similar administrative support may be provided to other units as needed.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated word processing accuracy (min 60 w.p.m) using Dictaphone.
- A brief typing speed test will be undertaken at the interview to assess speed.
- Experience with computer based software i.e. databases and spreadsheets
- Excellent grammar and spelling
- Punctual and dependable with a polite, sensitive, and helpful manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to liaise with a variety of individuals
- Able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- High levels of motivation, initiative and problem solving skills
- Immunisation history complies with NSW Health Policy Directive PD2011_005.
