Administrative Assistant
Under the direction of the Department Manager or other members of the department, the Administrative Assistant supports the department by taking responsibility for departmental filing system, calendars, and travel arrangements in addition to other routine administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Produces departmental information by transcribing, formatting, editing, filing, retrieving, copying and transmitting documents
- Manages departmental schedule by maintaining calendars, arranging meetings and scheduling travel
- Involved with day to day administrative functions which may include answering phones, report generation, responding to inquiries, and other clerical tasks
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
