Administrative Assistant Job in East Aurora, New York US
The Moog Military Aircraft group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to specific members of the Military Aircraft Leadership Team and to fulfill the role of Change Control Board Coordinator (CRB).
The primary function of the Change Control Board Coordinator is to provide the administration and scheduled operation of the CRB (Change Control Board).
To successfully achieve the above goal, you will act to insure that all changes to Moog Military Aircraft hardware are properly documented for review by the CRB and then schedule and coordinate the actual CRB meetings to review and disposition the proposed changes.
General Accountabilities:
1.Provide effective, timely, and consistently change proposal tracking and record keeping
2.Maintain established CRB work processes and work flow - and evolve the system to improve overall performance with the guidance of the Configuration Management Manager.
3.Provide courteous and effective communications in performance of job duties.
4.Meet work deadlines within priorities, with minimal process conflict for change submitters" and CRB members
The primary goal of the Administrative Assistant function of the job is to provide office service support that is specifically adapted to needs of the military aircraft group. This may include complex documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations as well as completion of specialty-specific templates and forms.
General Accountabilities:
1.Provide effective, timely, and consistently upgraded and improving office services support as directed for assigned unit(s).
2.Maintain established work processes and work flow for the office as required by specialties of the unit(s) served.
3.Provide efficient and proficient basic service for principals within the procedures established for the unit(s).
4.Provide efficient and proficient back-up service for other unit(s) or principals as assigned.
5.Provide courteous and effective contact communications for the unit(s) and principals.
6.Meet work deadlines within priorities, with minimal issues for principals or superior.
Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant and progressively skilled full-time work experience along with a directly relevant Associate Degree.
Skills in basic office services and interpersonal relations, and use of a wide range of automated office and information technology-based equipment are needed.
Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel software is preferred. As office equipment technology and software evolves, the incumbent is expected to remain proficient with advances up to the level of service described for this position.
