A. Morton Thomas Associates, Inc. (AMT), an Eastern Regional award winning multidisciplinary firm, is seeking an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to provide administrative support for our Lebanon, Virginia Office. Eligible candidates will have 2-5 years of experience in a professional work environment and familiarity with general administrative procedures. Candidates must be self-starting, highly motivated professionals with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills. Ability to manage workload, responsibilities, prioritizes tasks, resolve problems, and work well independently after brief explanation is essential. PRIMARY DUTIES: Answer phones and handle telephone inquiries; prepare, compose and proof read office correspondence; prioritize and complete delegated tasks to ensure deadlines are met; organize and keep training logs; maintain office and electronic file storage; arrange facilities for on-site and off-site meetings; order office supplies and maintain inventory; assist HR Dept. with new-hire documentation, forms and inquiries. PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES: 2-5 years in administration; must possess excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills; must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe; experience with scheduling, planning, record keeping, and filing; 2 or 4 year degree in Business Admin.
