Department Description:
Digital Revenue Development encompasses several areas including digital sales, retail development, product implementation and new business development. The department is focused on new business opportunities and expanding our current reach in all of these areas with the underlying objective of generating increased revenue and profitable expansion for WEA, ADA and WMG.
High Level Job Description:
Provide proactive support to two business area heads and related labels in the areas of sales reporting, ongoing administrative maintenance, and planning. Secondary function is providing additional backup to other executives and staff in the larger department and division.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Phone coverage:
- SVP Revenue Development Product Implementation/VP Digital Revenue Development
- Address and prioritize label/account calls/requests/emails while VPs are traveling/in meetings/out of office
TE Processing/Tracking:
- Prepare and submit expenses reports via Concur system
- Verify approvals, submissions, and payment dates for reports submitted
- Maintain meeting and conference budget tracking for events
- Process invoices for special project expenses as needed
Travel Arrangements:
- Coordinate flights, hotels, transportation for regular business travel
- Event registration and planning for tradeshows and conferences
Calendar Management:. (eg: Business meetings, Conference Calls, Travel, vacations)
- Coordinate internal meetings, customer meetings, project meetings and conferences
- Schedule and update weekly team and one-on-one meetings
- Proactively update calendars as needed for vacations, out of office time, etc.
Digital Account Management and Retail Development Reporting/Support:
- Generate label and product sales reports as needed
- Gather research and materials for new business areas, including new account background information for retail pitches
- Update shared drives/department documents with market research, account presentations and retail development target updates
- Provide direct assistance to Director, Retail Development in maintaining/updating account placement grids, co-op advertising reports and account profiles
- Prepare and process promotional product orders
- Provide weekly merchandising recommendations programming for select mobile/digital partners
- Support execution of monetization/blocking strategy on YouTube other social media partners
- Prepare and distribute weekly Wireless Placement Report
Special Requirements/Preferences:
- Basic Analysis and Budgeting, Presentation Editing and Creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management, follow-up skills, organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload, and strong attention to detail.
- Individual should be a ‘self-starter’ who takes initiative to get involved in all aspects of the department.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and juggling various priorities
- Ability to maintain focus in high stress environment
- Ability to work independently and be a team player
Education Experience Required/Preferred:
- Computer systems: WEA Reporting, Info and Inquiry systems, Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Photoshop and Internet savvy.
- General music genres, basic Retail overview, Distribution and music company basic structure
- 1-3 years prior administrative and/or sales support experience
- College Degree preferred
