Administrative Assistant, Tax
Maternity leave contract 13 - 15 months
A position in our Internal Client Services team with Grant Thornton will provide you an opportunity to:
Provide exceptional support service to our Tax team, primarily assisting the US Tax group in the downtown Vancouver office. As an Administrative Assistant you will provide direct administrative support to Partners, Managers and clients. On a daily basis the US Tax team will rely on you to help ensure the operational excellence Grant Thornton strives to provide its clients and employees. You will be an integral part of the Tax team and a front line contact for clients and a liaison for employees to contact their clients.

As an Administrative Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Tax group with the assembly of tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, estates, and partnerships
- Data and file management in connection with tax returns and client correspondence
- Assist Partners and Managers with the preparation of client invoices and receivables
- Track project work-in-progress schedules and deadlines
- Preparing expense reports and correspondence as requested
- Typing, transcription, and various reporting preparation
- Participate in and take notes at meetings
- Coordinating external/internal staff meetings including room bookings, meal/catering, audio/visual, and reports
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations
- Coordinate the Tax groups vacation schedule
- Assist other Administrative Assistants as necessary
