Administrative Assistant Job in Westbury 11590, New York US
30 year Sales and Marketing Company located in Westbury, NY looking for an Administrative person to join our team. This person needs to be a self starter with an outgoing personality to coordinate Trade Show arrangements which includes heavy interaction with customers, vendors and Sales team. This person should be able to work independently and is comfortable taking charge of this position. This is an outstanding opportunity to coordinate trade shows, create sell sheets and sales presentation of a great company in a fast pace marketing environment.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate travel schedule of customers attending show.
· Travel to Company 2 major trade shows.
· Coordinate the update of company website to reflect marketing events.
· Interface with Airlines/Hotel and transportation company to get customers to Trade Show.
· Manage schedule of multiple show and interface with Sales to coordinate trips.
· Detailed tracking of departure/arrival of all attendees.
· Monitor cost of Air fare/hotels to make sure the lowest possible cost.
· Adhoc project pertaining to travel directed by management.
Requirements:
· At Least an Associated Degree in a related field.
· 3+ years of Administrative Experience that has strong planning, marketing or project management involvement.
· Internship in Travel related company while attending college.
· Microsoft Excel skills required, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
· Must have experience with travel budgets
· Strong People skills needed
Ability to travel.
· Able to work independent as well as being resourceful
· Motivated with a can do it attitude.
