The Administrative Assistant will serve as assistant for the site of ~450 employees. In this role, you will: Essential Responsibilities - Serve as primary payroll administrator for site of ~400 employees including auditing timecards, processing adjustments special payments, and generating payroll report - Schedule, plan, and organize logistics for various meetings - Assist in planning and executing various employee events and activities - Organize and track various site specific employee programs - Maintain employee s electronic and paper records - Order, track, and process various administrative purchase orders - Organize and order various supplies - Assist with new hire onboarding including badge photo, recordkeeping, and related items - Manage distribution lists, SupportCentral sites, and related resources - Prepare outgoing mail and sort incoming mail - Provide overall office administrative duties such as phone coverage, call routing, appointment scheduling, and related duties - Perform other related duties as necessary such as creating presentations, managing calendars, and other related items Qualifications/Requirements: - High School Diploma / GED Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Desired Characteristics - Bachelor s Degree or a minimum of 4 years of related experience - Strong understanding of GE processes and procedures - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel - Strong interpersonal skills - Prior experience with web-based applications and/or systems administration Why join one great company when you can join many?
