Specific Job Description Assist four attorneys and one paralegal in all administrative/secretarial aspects of the transactions and benefits legal practice; professional interaction with other members of the Legal Department, Corporate business executives and staff, as well as outside counsel. Maintain filing systems; extremely accurate typing of both long and short documents, slides and presentations; screen and place phone calls; schedule meetings; arrange travel; prepare expense reports; maintain calendars and contact lists. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; occasional overtime may be required. Maintain confidentiality. Standard Job Description Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for assigned supervisor/manager or senior staff member. Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. May take and transcribe dictation; uses personal computers and standard desktop software to compose reports, correspondence, and memorandums; reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. May provide guidance and direction, as needed, to lower-level secretaries and other clerical employees.
