Administrative Assistant to the Director of Sales - Itasca, IL The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting administrative office functions for the director and the immediate staff through clerical support, human resources, office management and other related activities. Supports the management team in general clerical activities such as producing correspondence, managing files, scheduling appointments, photocopying, faxing, coordinating/handling travel arrangements and coordinating advertising for the region. Processes and coordinates Human Resource functions with the Human Resources Representative, including processing new hire paperwork, terminations and status changes and maintaining Associate files. Performs any reporting needs as requested by the Manager and staff. Maintains confidential information and proprietary reports. Backs up other office positions as assigned. Assists in other tasks or projects as assigned. High school diploma or state equivalency certification required. Previous retail sales experience is required. Minimum of one year general office experience required. Typing skills of 55 wpm (no errors) preferred. Experience with coordinating HR related information and other records preferred. Working knowledge of PC Windows's applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills required. Excellent organizational and strong customer service orientation required.
