Job Description:

 

The Administrative Assistant/Word Processor provides support to the Management Team, Producers and Account Managers.  The Administrative Assistant/Word Processor is also responsible for coordinating and implementing the required clerical and word processing functions of the office, to generate accurate and timely work product, and to assist in the maintenance of files in all phases of activity.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

·        Perform typing duties as required, including preparation of various documents, templates, and meeting minutes

·        Filing duties

·        Answering phones and directing calls in a professional manner

·        Receptionist duties as required

·        Incoming and outgoing mail

·        Inventory control and ordering of office supplies

·        Maintaining and updating templates and other documents as required

·        Document conversion to Adobe format as required

·        Maintenance of document database 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Minimum of two years clerical or word processing experience

·        High school diploma

·        Strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication, grammatical skills

·        Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, email, Internet and Adobe (Applied experience is helpful)

·        Minimum 50 wpm typing speed

·        Ability to work independently of continuous supervision, stay focused on the project at hand

·        Ability to take direction and/or constructive criticism well

·        A positive outlook and desire to learn and grow with us
