Administrator – Banking recruitment
Purpose of the role:
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for conducting the administration of the loan portfolio. He/she will also be responsible for drafting credit papers, conducting due diligence on loan cases, undertaking research and compiling team reports as required.
The Division
Recovery Management Ireland (“RMI”) is responsible for the development and execution of strategies for watch and impaired loans. The principal accountabilities of the RMI are:
- Leading the development and execution of recovery and de-risking strategies.
- Forecasting impairment provisions and recoveries.
- Active Management of these accounts to maximise the return to the Bank.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensure the administration of the team’s portfolio is carried out to the highest standard, including preparing facility and instruction letters, completing legal and drawdown documentation, managing client files and inputting information onto the various Bank systems.
- Assist the Assistant Manager/Manager to conduct due diligence on assigned cases in the associated loan portfolio.
- Prepare applicable credit papers which require minimal input from the Manager prior to presentation at credit Committee.
- Action client requests accurately in a timely fashion and attend client meetings as required.
- Prepare regular monthly reports and complete ad hoc reports as required.
- Provide guidance to junior colleagues as appropriate.
Experience and skills required:
Credit analysis and documentation
- Prior lending experience desirable
- Demonstrated ability to prepare credit applications and complete associated loan documentation, with a track record of working on a lending team/prior credit experience.
Client Relationships
- Prior experience of working in a client facing role would be an advantage
