JOB TITLE:               Administrator

LOCATION:              Blackwell, Derbyshire

SALARY:                  £7.50-8.65 P/Hr    

DURATION:             Contract

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·          Receive street closure files containing information to be data collected and validated

·         Validation of drawings and drawing labels and that they match information on mains work record cards
All information contained within the drawings must be correct and acceptable to the relevant requirements documents (such as DR2 and DR3)

·         All drawings must be verified that they are correctly dimensioned

·         Validation that spans between nodes have been correctly labelled including existing assets

·         Identification of length discrepancies between as-built and as-abandoned drawings match the proposal drawing

·         Identification of redesigns and liaison with relevant parties to obtain resolution

·         Ensure that queries are raised and resolved with Field Data Capture Technicians

·         Understand and apply the change of asset process (DR4)

·         Check to ensure that DR4’s are raised within the street closure files

·         If DR4’s do not exist, liaise with relevant parties to ensure they are raised correctly

·         Ensure that DR4’s match as-laid and as-abandoned drawings and the mains work record cards align

·         Identification of non claimable mains abandonment

·         Liaison with the Data Integrity Manager.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         Familiarity with digitisation of Utility Undertaker assets preferred but not essential as training will be provided

·         Familiarity with GIS systems and the ability to navigate around GIS systems essential, although training will be  provided on the specific system requirements

·         Ability to work within a close knit team

·         Work to deadlines and achieve targets

·         Keen eye for detail

·         Diligent and takes pride in delivering accurate work

·         Good communication skills to articulate and resolve data queries with those outside the Validation Team
