ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR

We are currently seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator for our Senior Care Facility. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Establishes easy rapport with families and overcomes objections 

·         Develops and improves overall census with a goal of 95% and above through various sales techniques.

·         Reports statistical information timely and accurately.

·         Interviews prospective residents for possible admission and acquires all necessary information and documentation for an admission decision. Completes all required forms as needed. Confers with the Clinical staff and Executive Director in evaluation of appropriateness of admission.

·         Oversees the completion of resident applications for admission and assists incoming residents and their families with financial arrangements related to admission.

·         Conducts tours of the facility and grounds with potential residents and families.

·         Maintains a strong, positive working relationship with discharge planners and case managers of potential industry referral sources.  Interfaces with all referral sources on a regular basis and completes required documentation of all interactions.

·         Attends any and all sales meetings, and/or scheduled meetings as necessary.

·         Maintain community awareness and positively promotes and represents the residence through various marketing programs, industry events, sales calls and prospective resident and family interactions. 

·         Participates in continuous quality innovation efforts.

 

 

Requirements:

·         Healthcare industry sales or admissions experience.

·         Excellent organizational skills with a detail orientation towards documentation and follow-up.

·         Professional telephone skills with the ability to handle referral calls effectively and efficiently, meeting the needs of the referral sources and families.

·         Ability to work with family members and conduct residence tours with a focus on closing.

·         Enthusiastic, motivated attitude.
